We found ourselves on a back road to Salvatore Rosa National
Park that the local information centre said was “a bit bumpy in parts”. It turned into a narrow rough track but with care we found it
wasn’t too bad.
A drawer under one of
the seats came open as we lurched around a bend and Maree’s hat slid off the
seat into the drawer. The drawer closed
on the next bend. It took us hours to
find the hat.
During our stay in this remote park we pretty much had the place to
ourselves. After all that we think the scenery on drive
in is more interesting than that in the park.

It should obviously be designated as the 'hat' draw for future trips!
