This is one of our favourite outback towns. We stocked up on food and drink, once again dealing
with the odd local alcohol purchasing rules. Find out what and how much you can purchase then
show your ID which is recorded so you don’t go over your daily limit.
This little break gave us the opportunity to reflect on what
we have seen corrugations do to vehicles, caravans, trailers and their contents. Between the four of us we have had the lid unscrew off the jar of garlic and hide somewhere in the fridge, screws pull out of drawer runners, a broken fridge, a gas bottle twist around in its bracket. Other people have fared worse with broken leaf springs, shockers, driving lights coming off bullbars, etc, etc.
