Zebra Rock

The Zebra Rock Mine, camp ground and lake tours are run by a young couple who are obviously  not afraid of hard work.  We did the museum tour viewing the various examples of the zebra rock that is unique to this area.

Maree and I loved the sunset cruise on Lake Argyle which is about 10 times the size of Sydney Harbour and it’s all fresh water.  As our boat motored through the wetlands into the lake proper we saw heaps of bird life. And then drinks were served.

After the first drink it was a matter of help yourself and each other to the various eskys containing beer, wine (including Jacobs Creek shiraz on ice) and soft drink.  By the time we stopped on shore for nibbles there were many very happy people.  The cruise finished with a beautiful sunset over the lake.
